In my over 20 years of professional experience, I have had the opportunity to work with many clients ranging from large government agencies and schools, to smaller clients such as churches and homeowners. And the one constant throughout all of these projects has been the true joy of one-on-one collaboration with people to help them fulfill their design visions.

jhb architect was founded in 2002 as a sole proprietorship with a client-oriented philosophy. Heading my own firm grants me the freedom to dedicate the proper time and attention to my clients’ needs and concerns; holding their hands when necessary, leading when required and always listening:

“Jennifer spent many hours designing a plan that would be both structurally sound (important when you don’t want your upstairs bedroom to land in your family room) and also incorporate all the changes to make our house live the way we want to live. Having architectural plans in place before anyone started swinging a sledge hammer gave us peace of mind that everyone working on the project would literally be on the same page.” Cyndi Soter O’Neil, midtown Raleigh.

“We hired Jennifer to design a master plan for our home last year. We asked her to do a phased plan to include a master bedroom and bathroom renovation and complete renovation of the downstairs of our home. She was a joy to work with – and exceeded our every expectation. Jennifer phased our project so that we could do the bedroom/bathroom in one phase and then separate phases for the downstairs. She worked closely with us, revising our plans as we honed in on a final budget. She was available to answer our questions and to help us select a reputable contractor. We look forward to working with Jennifer again in the future – and would highly recommend her.” Wayne & Becky Felton, midtown Raleigh
